Last night Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks took Mirror Traffic‘s “Senator” to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, though it didn’t appear that Malkmus had indeed swapped out the song’s lyric “blow job” for “corn dog” as promised. Then why even have the contest?! Perhaps he was busy stoking an arbitrary, perhaps imagined beef with Mumford and Sons. That I can understand.
Watch that “Senator” snow job along with the Jicks’ web exclusive performance of “Surreal Teenagers” below:

Did you watch the same video as me? Because he definitely says “snow job” at :32 and :39.
Welp, definitely misread the article. I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry.
Something tells me that “Surreal Teenagers” would translate much better in the studio than live.
Snow job was my submission to the contest, so, i for one, am pretty pleased with it.
