A couple of days ago, Bright Eyes brought out guitar icon Tom Morello during its set at the Ottawa Folk Festival for a rendition of Fevers & Mirrors song “Arienette.” Oberst’s take on the song is rather straightforward until he turns it over to Morello, who delivers one of those thrashy, guitar-channeling-other-instruments solos for which he is best known. Keep your eyes peeled for another bro hug, doubling this week’s tally if you’re keeping track of the bro hugs.
Morello stayed on stage for “Road To Joy,” as well.
