A full moon shined the background of a lovely evening at the Hollywood Bowl that starred The National with Neko Case (with T Bone Burnett) and Sharon Van Etten. The National had some help on vocals as Annie Clark from St. Vincent and the Calder Quartet joined the band for a number songs.
The National just added more dates for their winter — including a four-night stand at the Beacon in NYC — which you can check out at 4AD. Last night’s setlist below, photos above:
“Runaway”
“Anyone’s Ghost”
“Bloodbuzz Ohio”
“Slow Show”
“Squalor Victoria” (Calder)
“Afraid of Everyone” (Annie)
“Conversation 16″
“Available”
“Sorrow” (Annie)
“Abel”
“England” (Calder)
“Thirsty” (Calder, Annie)
“Fake Empire”
“Think You Can Wait” (Calder, Sharon)
“Mr. November”
“Terrible Love” (Annie)
“About Today”

The Calder they’re referring to on their set list is the Calder Quartet from Los Angeles that joined them onstage throughout the night. The only guest vocalists, from what I recall from the night, were Annie Clark and Sharon Van Etten.
Thanks! I will make the correction.
In this photos he kinda looks like Timothy Dalton with a beard.
