After giving us a sample of his new collection’s throwback orchestral pop title track, Norwegian songsmith Sondre Lerche offers up another listen to his forthcoming Heartbeat Radio. Lerche lets himself rock a little harder here, although it’s still rooted in tuneful and somewhat swirly pop, and offers wisdom on the nature of life’s little (mis)adventures: “Good luck, don’t you feel so bad / Just don’t get your hopes up / Luck whether good or band doesn’t come from justice.” I bet Sondre’s friends want nothing more than to hang out with him and his guitar when they’re having a rough night.   1. Such a beautiful opener to an album of nonstop stand outs! Excited for everyone to hear the full thing because if you like these two songs, you’ll be blown away by the rest! This album’s got some serious longevity. I think it’s his best!
