While the entire Stereogum crew was on the train to Asbury Park for ATP, T.I. broke the world off with “I’m Flexin’,” his first solo track since he got out of prison and his first-ever collaboration with the Mississippi rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T., a man who seems like he was genetically engineered in a lab specifically to collaborate with T.I. Tip was maybe a little too emo on his new Young Jeezy collab “F.A.M.E. (Fake Ass Muthafuckas Everywhere),” but this track finds him in slippery, vengeful battle-rap mode, sounding hard and hungry. K.R.I.T., who produced the track, sadly has no verse on the song, but it’s cool to hear his voice on the hook regardless. Listen to the track at Nah Right.
