Eternal badass Leonard Cohen was recently in the Spanish city of Oviedo to pick up an award, and at a press conference there, he claimed that he’s got a new album that he’s planning to release next year. Cohen has already recorded the album. It’s got 10 new songs, and it’s called Old Ideas.
This will be Cohen’s first album since 2004’s Dear Heather. At the press conference, Cohen said, “I’ve played it for a few people, and they seem to like it.” To be fair, though, Leonard Cohen could play me a half-hour of donkey farts, and I’d still tell him that I liked it.
