Connecticut indie rockers the Philistines Jr. must have some serious pull, because their forthcoming covers compilation If A Lot Of Bands Play In The Woods…, which contains covers and remixes of songs from last year’s If a Band Plays in the Woods…? LP, features a number of notable guests like Jónsi, Tokyo Police Club, Nico Muhly and the National. Speaking of them, here’s the National’s take on “Twenty Miles to NH Part 2.”
If A Lot Of Bands Play In The Woods…, is out 11/1 via Tarquin Records/Beverly Martel.

Great Song that is possibly surpassed by the cover version. Amazing.
Worthy of mention – Peter Katis of The Philistines Jr. produces all these bands, thus the serious pull.
