  1. “Sunflower” all the way.

  2. Pet Sounds. [That's a no-brainer!]

  3. Friends for me.

I know I’m gonna sound like a broken record, but srsly, Pet Sounds.

  5. Pet Sounds. Duh. But Surf’s Up is close.

  6. Smiley Smile for sure

  7. Friends – secretly the best Beach Boys album ever. Then Sunflower.

  8. Sunflower. Simply gorgeous…

  9. All Summer Long. It was the beginning of the transition from the pop to something more significant (but still very much pop). I think this album has the best vocals of any Beach Boys record.

  10. Pet sounds… duh. They’re all great but… it’s pet sounds.

  11. yep, this andy cush fellow said what i was gonna say — Pet Sounds is my fave album, but Heroes and Villains holds a special place in my heart. xx

  12. Pet Sounds. It is a perfect record. I think we all agree. YES YOU AGREE, TRUST ME.

  13. smiley smile!

  14. How could it not be Pet Sounds?

  15. pet sounds.

  16. It’s a dead tie between Pet Sounds and Surf’s Up for me.

  17. This is going to be incredibly controversial, I know, but “Pet Sounds.”

  18. Going to have to agree with everyone else and say Pet Sounds.

  19. Of course Pet Sounds. I thought about saying something else because I wanted to prove how independent I could be, but that’s not me.

  20. smiley smile…

  21. Pet Sounds… obvious choice

  22. Endless Summer might be my favorite, but I’m not sure if it counts as an album. I think smile is probably going to be my favorite as soon as I get it (hopefully by winning!).

  23. “Pet Sounds” is my fave, but if “Smile” had been properly released, it probably would have been.

  24. Yeah, Pet Sounds. But I they have so many records and comps that I haven’t even heard all of them. But I love Pet Sounds, my favorite song being “That’s Not Me” because I can really relate to it in my current stage in life. This album showed me that The Beach Boys were more than just fun radio friendly surf pop and a real creative and artistic force.

  25. Definitely Pet Sounds.

  26. “Today!” Want this so badly.

  27. It would have to be Pet Sounds, too…so unoriginal. Wild Honey is also amazing, too, and Holland, Friends, & Surf’s Up! Those all have some strange moments though!

  28. To add to the resounding chorus… Pet Sounds.

  29. My favorite is Summer in Paradise especially the tracks featuring Uncle Jesse.

No, it’s definitely Pet Sounds but since the majority is saying that, I’ll also say that Beach Boys Today! would be my second favorite. I also love Smiley Smile but I think it it overshadowed by Brian Wilson’s 2004 Smile release. I think both of those will be overshadowed by this release.

  30. Kokomo. No, wait, I change mine.

  31. Going to have to go with Pet Sounds. For me the album is what Sgt Pepper should have been

  32. pet sounds of course!

  33. Pet Sounds without hesitation.

  34. Pet Sounds

  35. Pet Sounds, but Today! is a close second.

  36. can i say endless summer? if not, im going with pet sounds, but endless summer is so wonderful and sunny and warm and bright
