Thanks for this, for some reason I couldn’t get it to work off the Polyvinyl site. Aloha are one of those bands I hold in really high esteem, despite not really digging their albums that much. Maybe this time will be different as this is quite a good song.
Thanks for the link Scott. I am absolutely fascinated by Aloha and have all their stuff (I think) Do they ever play out live? Despite being from my hometown (and current residence) I’ve never seen them.
they do indeed play live, and well. when i’ve seen them, they do their whole set without stopping once, sequeing between the various songs with drum and/or xylophone solos. it works out quite well, as those between song solos are quite rockin.
