Young Jeezy - Thug Motivation 103

Jeezy called in some favors for this one! For his sound-drenched track “I Do,” the once-dominant Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy managed to wrangle guest verses from two of rap’s biggest names, Jay-Z and OutKast’s André 3000; I honestly can’t remember the last time those two rapped on the same song. Did they ever? They must’ve done it sometime, right? Jay rapped with Big Boi on “Flip Flop Rock” and “Poppin’ Tags,” but André was absent both times. Anyway, this song! Pretty good! Listen to a radio rip of it below!

Also below, check out Jeezy’s new video for his T.I. collab “F.A.M.E. (Fake Ass Motherfuckers Envy).” Lance Drake directed the weirdly depressing video, which reminds me of Sophia Coppola’s Somewhere, except with no redemptive father/daughter story and more vodka product placement.

Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition is out 12/20 on Def Jam, unless it gets pushed back again.

  1. if this was like somewhere there would be 5 minutes WITHOUT ANY CAMERA MOVEMENT on jeezy wiping his ass with haters or some shit
    peace.

  2. lol@”I Do’s” hook

  3. anyone else think “I Do” is the second coming of “Int’l Players Anthem”? For real. I’ve been listening to the leaked version with just the 3K verse for a while now, but this complete version may be the best hip-hop song I’ve heard all year.

  4. Jay- Z and Andre’ 3000 were on the same track on the remix of “30 Something” with Ice Cube. It was off the mediocre Kingdom Come album

  5. It does remind me an awful lot of “Int’l Players Anthem”. It doesn’t quite reach those heights but what does? It’s still a banger.
