The Killers - "Cowboys' Christmas Ball" Video

The Killers’ Christmas single has become something of a fun distraction, one they’ve pulled off quite a few times already. Who, after all, could forget “Don’t Shoot Me Santa” or “A Great Big Sled” or “Joseph, Better You Than Me“? Oh right, all of us. All of us could forget them.

Well, the band has a new Christmas single called “Cowboys’ Christmas Ball,” and its video, directed by Robert Schober, does an eerily perfect job recreating the look of early-days-of-color Western films. I half-expected to see Dean Martin staggering out of the saloon. But instead of that, the clip’s plot essentially turns into what Cowboys Vs. Aliens should’ve been. Watch it below.

“Cowboys’ Christmas Ball” is out now on iTunes.
