Tennis – “Deep In The Woods” Video

By Corban Goble / December 6, 2011

The video for Tennis’ “Deep In The Woods,” the B-side for the the Patrick Carney-produced “Origins” single, teems with a violent undercurrent that seems to be the go-to move for other similarly-retro artists. Alaina Moore tells Rolling Stone that the clip is based on Shirley Jackson’s We Have Always Lived In A Castle, which is about two sisters, so there’s some context for you. Check out the clip (warning: it autostarts!) after the jump.

The “Origins” single is out tomorrow on Forest Family. Tennis’ second LP, Young And Old, is out 2/14 on Fat Possum. Check out a recent progress report with Tennis here.
