King Khan And The Shrines - "Bite My Tongue"

It’s been a minute since garage-rock institution did anything with his old backing band the Shrines. But now they’re back in full effect, horns ablaze and all, on Khan’s new track “Bite My Tongue.” It’s a perfectly characteristic bit of old-school hard-soul wailing; nice to hear that Khan still has his Wilson Pickett records in heavy rotation. Grab it below.

“Bite My Tongue” will appear on a split 7″ with Mikal Cronin, out 2/10 on Bruise Cruise.

    “since garage-rock institution did anything with his old backing band the Shrines”…are we missing a word between “since” and “garage”…like “the”?
