On the heels of Tim Tebow’s most insane, improbable comeback yet, and the subsequent shattering of Twitter records, John Parr has finally heeded the call to re-record his 1985 hit “St. Elmo’s Fire” with Tebow-centric lyrical tweaks. Some examples:

Deadspin points out that Parr tried the song out a while back on ESPN’s Sportsnation, but we’re glad he threw his heart into the polished, studio version. May God (and his nephew Tim) smile down upon you, this day.

It wasn’t Tim Tebow’s improbable comeback, he actually stopped the Steelers’ comeback but that’s not what’s important here. What’s important here is John Parr needs to cut this shit out.
Ha, fair point. It’s easier in my mind to phrase everything he does as a comeback. With a story like this, there’s so little to make sense of that you have to give yourself some allowances.

On another note, the Broncos didn’t win that game. Royal never got his left foot in on that touchdown, the 50-yard pass interference was non-existent, and I just hate Tim Fucking Tebow. I’m not even a Steelers fan.
This is worse than the Chicago Bears rap from the 80s.
Royal didn’t need his left foot in, his knee was down with possession: Touchdown. Taylor had the receiver wrapped around the left arm with a solid bump to the back, knocking him down before going for the ball. Can’t do that.
Also, this Pats fan thinks it’s weird that you actually “hate” Tim Tebow.
Don’t worry, most of us still hate Brom Tady.
