The French ’80s revivalists are making the most of their time in NYC. Again. Last time it was shows everywhere from MHOW to T5 and camera calls for Alexa Chung and David Letterman. This week’s jaunt sees them spend two very soldout nights at Central Park Summerstage with Passion Pit (tonight and tomorrow), but not before a busy Thursday that saw the suave Cadillac spokesmen perform a session at the Apple Store SoHo, and then “Listzomania” at 30 Rock minutes later. One of them didn’t even have time to take off his scarf in transit.

Coming soon to Fallon: Dirty Projectors on Monday 9/28. You can be one of the awkward dancers in the benches by entering this sweepstakes and using the code DPR. Good luck.

I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of that song, or watching them play it.

Love Phoenix, but how are they 80s revival? What 80s bands do they sound like?

  8. I got to see them do an in-store at the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis last week. Great show, although it was difficult to see.
