Watch Arcade Fire Play "We Used To Wait" On 'Austin City Limits'

Arcade Fire has basically done it all over the last year — including, you know, winning that big AOTY Grammy and headlining Coachella — so it seems natural that they’re returning to familiar turf for an episode of PBS’ Austin City Limits. Check out a performance of “We Used Yo Wait” and some clips that tease the special down below.

The Arcade Fire episode of Austin City Limits airs 1/14 on PBS. Check local listings to see when it’s showing.

  1. I watched their live stream at MSG and unless my memory is hazier than I think it is, they totally killed it during this song. On the other hand this performance seems a bit weak

  2. All joking aside. This is still a really amazing song.

  3. This record needed more roughness.. a more intuitive, raw approach to it like Funeral did.

  4. I do love the song, my favorite on Suburbs. However, the MGS set was, if I am not badly mistaken, directed by one of my favorites, former-and-only-American Python, Terry Gilliam. Love that man.

  5. Every time I see Win Butler all I can think is “that dude is going to look just like Christopher Walken in 20 years”. I don’t think that’s a bad thing though…

  6. Their first ACL appearance during the Funeral days is in my opinion, one of the best ACL episodes ever. They were incredible.
