Lana Del Rey - "Born To Die" Single

Damon Albarn, a man who has some experience making music with cartoon characters, has become the latest in a long line of artists who have tried their hand at remixing Lana Del Rey. Like Clams Casino and Woodkid before him, under the pseudonym PDP 13 Albarn has put together a version of LDR’s “Born To Die,” and his version is bass-heavy and six and a half minutes long. Give it a listen below.

Lana Del Rey’s album Born To Die is out 1/31 on Interscope.

  7. Funny thing is, if this was a Gorillaz or Damon Albarn track people would be drooling all over it.

    • I get what you’re saying, but sometimes (okay, most of the time) I wish Albarn would just sing some sad bastard tunes like “Out of Time” or the refrain in “Feel Good Inc” (windmill, windmill for the land…). His voice is perfect for that stuff.
