The Brooklyn dreampop band Field Mouse, who shimmer like Velocity Girl used to do back in the early ’90s, have a new video for their song “Glass,” and it consists entirely of a long close-up on singer Rachel Browne’s face as leaves and bubbles blow around her. Fortunately, Browne has what I’d have to call a very nice face. Watch it and download the MP3 below.
Field Mouse haven’t announced an album or anything yet, but they’ve got a two-song 7″ coming out 2/28 on Small Plates, and you can pre-order it here.

Wasn’t there a band called the Field Mice? Change the name. In other news, my band, “Talking Head” has an EP coming out too.
Amazing! I love this band! I am looking forward to them touring in the near future
