We heard Justice try to make U2′s “Get On Your Boot” less horrible. Ditto for Lenny Kravitz’s “Let Love Rule.” It sorta goes without explanation why Bono & Co. wanted to promote a new single, but you might’ve forgotten that Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay got behind Lenny because he went and released a deluxe 20th anniversary edition of Let Love Rule. A few months later, the tongue-in-cheek Keith Schofield-directed video is … smart and entertaining. A first for a Kravitz-related project? Just kidding: Love is gentle as a rose. And love can conquer any war.

“I had a little help, I got to lay low for awhile, while this all blows over, will you be okay?”
Ah, now I can hear “had a little help,” before it sounded like some incomprehensible phrase, all the words running together…
“I had a little help, I got to lay low for awhile, while this all blows over, will you be okay?”
