The Only Place, the second album from Best Coast, arrives in about two months, and it should be a pretty fascinating listen. Noted sound-layering maestro Jon Brion produced the thing, which means it will sound a whole lot different from Crazy For You, Best Coast’s charismatic-but-thin debut. And Bethany Cosentino herself has referred to the album as “emo,” which could mean a whole lot of different things. That pretty-awesome picture above is the album’s cover art.
