Ty Segall and White Fence

Last year, the San Francisco fuzz-punk Ty Segall scored big by turning (relatively) introspective on Goodbye Bread. For his follow-up, though, Segall seems to be turning back to his roots. He’s teamed up with fellow Bay Area lo-fi brat White Fence to record the collaborative album Hair. And the first track we’ve heard, “I Am Not A Game,” is a ragged and organ-driven piece of garage scuzz. It’s fun! Download it below.

Hair is out 4/24 on Drag City.
