Beachwood Sparks - The Tarnished Gold

Last seen reuniting at SP20, LA’s Beachwood Sparks return from a nearly decade-long recording hiatus with the full-length alt-country collection The Tarnished Gold this summer. Over the past ten years, members have participated in solo and side projects like All Night Radio, The Tyde, and Mystic Chords Of Memory. The new album sessions expanded the band’s original line-up to seven members. Stream the LP’s first single “Forget The Song” below and download for the cost of an e-mail address.

The Tarnished Gold is out 6/25 via Sub Pop.

  1. Ahh…I missed this band. Picked up right where they left off by the sound of it. Sounds good. One of those rare songs where the verse is stronger than the chorus.

  2. So glad to have them back

  3. I love Beachwood Sparks, even though I only recently discovered them. Have all of their releases now, plus All Night Radio, The Tyde, Mystic Chords of Memory, Farmer Dave Scher’s solo release, and everything related to this band that I can find. This new track sounds awesome. Can’t wait for the new CD. What a talented bunch of musicians they are.

  4. I love this band. I’m glad to see them back! There’s always room for more alt-country.
