But they misjudged the American sensibility badly: wit, pastiche, irony, camp, and musical crossover just doesn’t go down well here. No, Selena, I’m not taking it personally because I’m not Robbie Williams. I do, however, take exception to your cavalier snickering at Robbie’s weight and ambiguous sexuality. First, we don’t laugh at people’s weight because, for them, it *is* a personal issue which they have to deal with every day.
