Stereogum is happy to hear about salary hikes for the voices of The Simpsons. The show’s cast is the most talented bunch of faceless comedians in TV history.
I attended a TV Land-sponsored Q&A with Harry Shearer (who voices Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, and MANY others) a few weeks back, and forgot to write about it on the blog. Here’s a horrible photo:
I forget why he was playing a muted video of Bush’s face during the discussion, but it was funny at the time. More importantly, someone asked him who is favorite band is. He said XTC!

I met Harry Shearer years ago where he was the host / guest speaker at a Sony sponsored video competition years ago. I said something lame like “I love the sychronized swimming skit with Martin Short… it is a classic, blah, blah, blah”. He was cool chit chat ensued and that was that. The guy is a real talent and makes a really horrid looking woman.
I would have picked Shearer for a Moby fan.
