The Pixies and The Flaming Lips are pretty fucking awesome, so I may be suckered into going the second day. I’ve heard good things about the SCI, but I just don’t think I’m that into them. I think the Flaming Lips fill that “fun” void. BUT… Monday and Tuesday?! WTF?! Sux0r.
Re: Getting there. You’ll either need to drive or take the bus from 125th Street. Be forewarned: Traffic will be hell. It took us a looonnnngggg time to get out way back during the Tibetan Freedom Concert. I don’t think things have changed that much.

Just seems stupid to me. i’m going to have to take 2 days off of work to get any sort of value out of these tickets, especially since i’m as interested in the 2nd stage acts as the leads.

But I know a lot of people who are only going one day … and Day 1 would be the way to go. Pixies will be back in NY this fall.

Or do what I am planning on doing, fly to LA, and go to day one of Lollapallooza at Ventura, where the Pixies and Moz play together on the same day!
