Spend Rosh Hashanah with Sarah Silverman:

Tuesday, September 14 @ 8:00 PM
Wednesday, September 15 @ 8:00 PM
Thursday, September 16 @ 10:00 PM

All shows are at Ars Nova (511 W. 54th Street, NYC). Tix are $20.

We’ve seen all her TV appearances and her show Jesus Is Magic (and snuck into the afterparty). We totally heart Sarah.

If you get Trio, you must watch Sarah, Sam Seder, Jon Benjamin and Isla Fisher in the hilarious Pilot Season, an update of Who’s The Caboose.

I’d never heard of Isla Fisher before. She hott in the show, but I can’t find any decent recent photos of her on the Web. Isla’s engaged to Ali G. Imagine having sex with Borat. She must never stop laughing.

  1. I’ve seen every episode of Pilot Season. If anyone ever really really wanted to like a show, it’s me, and it’s that show. That’s all I’m gonna say.

  2. Uh, S., you’ve got to be out of your mind. Sarah Silverman is amazingly untalented. She thinks it’s funny to “shock” people. Lame.

  3. Isla Fsher from “Home and Away” – the Aussie soap – my goodness, she’s been dormant for a while. Good to see it’s not just Kylie and Danni who can rock it with the big kids.

I highly, highly dislike Isla Fisher. I hate Home and Away. That show is the epitome of crap. Anyone who dares to ‘act’ on it are exercising exceedingly bad judgement… even worse than Britney’s. There are so many more Australian has beens that deserve success more than her. Everyone in Australia dimly remembers her and it’s amusing to see her trying to make her come back. And of course she will, because people are stupid.

I blame the ever constant soap churning machines, Home and Away and Neighbours for continually launching the careers of idiots. There are of course a couple of exceptions. I also blame England for keeping the shows popular. If you guys didn’t import them they would have died out years ago. But noooo, 20 years later and they’re still here.

  5. How come if you Google “Isla Fisher” you get a sponsored link for “Free Mensa Sperm Donor?” Guess she really is that hot…

Oh, please. Soap operas are the modern form of folk tales and provide a communal narrative that would otherwise be unavailable in the atomised society. Only a pure intellectual snob would bemoan people’s enjoyment of them.

  7. I love Isla Fisher for two reasons.

Firstly ,she has just converted to the Jewish faith and secondly because she has magnificent breasts for a woman of her size and stature.

I quite regularly see Sacha and Isla walking around where I live (both from the same place) and she is extremely cute.

I guess you’ve never seen the shows, for as long as you can remember. I hardly see how disliking 2 shows in particular, qualifies me as an ‘intellectual snob,’ at the ripe old age of 20. I see merit in other things that could fall under the same category, just not these two. They’re above and beyound, in my estimations.

I think perhaps, someone who can spit out lines such as “Soap operas are the modern form of folk tales and provide a communal narrative that would otherwise be unavailable in the atomised society.” is highly hypocritical.
