Slim Shady gets his war (with Benzino) on.

(via Catchdubs.)

Maybe he’s been digging the VH1 Classic (they play that Martika video a lot).

  1. who produced this?

it has the same sort of melody excision and sped up vocals that kanye west would do, but nothings coming up on the net.

  2. DJCheeseZombie  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

Actually, I heard a cover of Toy Soldiers on the LA station Indie103.1 by a band called RPM, haven’t heard or found it again, but maybe ya should look for it.

  3. DJCheeseZombie  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

    Found cover by RPM here:

  4. Man… how many rounds has Eminem vs Benzino/The Source gone now? Can’t he find a newer, more relevent target to battle? Don’t get me wrong, this beef has generated some extremely entertaining battle tracks but I’d like to see Em go after someone a little more capable of firing back…

  5. Ok, Martika owns me. I am happy about this. I like it. I am digging the stuff he is releasing lately.

    That is all. :)

  6. PJ  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

Eminem is seriously the gayest rapper ever.

  7. Justin  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

Eminem has officially become Puff Daddy. What utter garbage. This might be worse than “Just Lose It” or “My Band.”

  8. noone  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

oh man i love martika!! the thought of eminem sampling her classic 80′s hit repulses yet excites me.

  9. madskrillz  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

Props to Stereogum for listening to The Wrens.

  10. getthefuckoutofhere  |   Posted on Nov 4th, 2004 0

That is seriously the crappiest crap that ever crapped.

Em should do a duet with Gwen and they could both try to out suck each other.

  11. I always had a thing for Martika (and inexplicably, Cathy Dennis, too) but Eminem just ruined it.

Wow that RPM version of “Toy Soldiers” was so… Jersey shore band.

  12. next up EM covers: Two of Hearts by Stacy Q and Naughty Girls by Samantha Fox

  13. Kids Incorporated will not die!

  14. Straaaange….

I thought the song last week for some reason and downloaded it….it’s been years since I thought about her…or that flick “Toy Soliders” (what I call ‘Die Hard in a Prep School’)

I did some checking and she’s still around doing the music thing – I don’t much about her new band but they’re called Oppera – here’s the link : http://www.oppera.net/

  15. Ah yes. Martike. Who here remembers her from Kids Incorperated? Perhaps she will collaberate with the woman from Black Eyed Peas….

  16. awesome, this was my favorite album in jr high! xox

  17. that cover is awesome. she pulled the waistband of her panty hose up around her boobs and her jeans way WAY up her backside. are we that far away from 1990, that i can’t wrap my 2004 mind around this styling?

  18. wil  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

Yes, I remember her from Kids Inc and that Fergie from Black Eyed Peas used to be in it too.

  19. This is crazy! I can’t wait until he samples Hangin’ Tough by NKOTB. That’s gonna be hot.

  20. Martika did a softcore lesbo porn flick in the early 90s called “Sex & Money” – never released on DVD, but maybe unearthable on VHS. She was pretty hot.

    Buy My T-Shirts!

  21. SUMwon  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

that’s some hot garbage on a platter.

if you like this, you probably fall in the demographic that didn’t vote.

  22. This is a horribly produced song. The hook (the sample) is great, but the music while he’s rapping is boring. They couldn’t have thrown some vocals or harmony in behind his voice?

What happened to Eminem? I enjoy “Just Lose It” but only because I slightly suspect that he tried really hard to write a ridiculous, stupid song so he could prove that anything with his name on it would sell.

  23. I’m posting this in the comments because this is supposed to be a music site…

    BUT Tara Reid:

    WTF?

  24. Grimmone  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

This is so embarassing to admit, but when I was about 12 I loved Martika and I loved that stupid Toy Soldiers song, I even wanted to cut my hair into that page boy hair do that she had.

Anyway one day my older sister caught me lip synching to that song and pretending I was Martika singing that stupid song, anyway to this day I can’t live that incident down! Thanks Em for bringing back a painful childhood memory!

  25. i loved that martika song. and i loved her on kids inc. i’m a sad, sad 80′s girl i know.

back to the beef: didn’t benzino record some shit about em a couple years back? i know they keep going back and forth but, i mean, can’t these rappers just get a long already????

  26. dennard  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

don’t be too suprised if Pete Waterman remixes one of Slim Shady’s songs.

  27. mongo  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

officially, on the album it sais produced by eminem….

  28. calliwell  |   Posted on Nov 5th, 2004 0

Uh…what? I remember that when I was young I lost my front tooth to this song. I was wiggling and wiggling and it finally fell out.

What an odd memory to drudge up. Thanks Em.

  29. Martika and her husband are Oppera. the music is awesome
    hear the music here http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/oppera

or visit http://oppera.net in the forum they are talking about EMINEM’sampling

  30. MO  |   Posted on Nov 7th, 2004 0

i thinks this is the best song em album encore the drum sound in the song’s is amazing.

  31. yolady  |   Posted on Nov 9th, 2004 0

whos that guy Em talks about in that song? who died??

  32. My roommate got Encore today and it’s actually pretty good, just too bad it’s not terribly interesting. He’s just no longer relevant. Sorry.

I really like this song, though, it’s so far the most forward thinking track on the album (Just Lose It blows chuuuunnnnkks and I just don’t buy Mosh, sorry).

  33. Tribbiani  |   Posted on Nov 11th, 2004 0

I like Eminems music, but this is his worst album.. Really pity.. Maybe he’s out of idea’s and need to refuel or something..

  34. Marty Dibergi  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2004 0

This pretentious ponderous collection of babbling rubbish is enough to prompt the question, ‘What day did the Lord create Eminem, and couldn’t he have rested on that day too?’

  35. Ian Faith  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2004 0

Toy Soldiers? More like Sh*t Soldiers

  36. Ian Faiths Amazing  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2004 0

Toy soldiers – shit soldiers? well that is just amazingly witty Ian, you twat. Anyway i like his album, does anybody know who he is on about in this song when he sings about someone being killed? Has a rapper actually been killed or is this just fictitious?

  37. Derek S  |   Posted on Nov 13th, 2004 0

This album is less than nothing. I can only recommend that Eminem invests in an amp that goes up to 11

  38. i think hes talkin about Suge, cos if y listen to the song,it fits in well..

i like his album, but bear in mind im 15/f so i probs got different views on shit than you have

  39. Shady Soldier  |   Posted on Nov 15th, 2004 0

Yeah, Someo of these clowns don’t know what they’re talking about, this is one of Em’s best new songs.

  40. pobO^  |   Posted on Nov 15th, 2004 0

I miss eminem from marshall mathers album… yah know.. the crazy ganstah. what are we gonna call em when he samples old 80´s hits? crazy maybe.. but hell sure aint ganstah =(

  41. tom  |   Posted on Nov 15th, 2004 0

this sh** is crazy – eminem has changed the game again – on point, flow unrivaled – and the beat and sample is sick – keep it going EM

  42. melon  |   Posted on Nov 15th, 2004 0

All of you idiots who keep mentioning “just lose it” and other overplayed radio songs need to get you head out of your ass and not ever mention marshalls name again until you get a fucking clue.

Also in regards to the voting comment from SUMone, you are probably one of those pretentious bastards who got suckered by mass media to vote for an alcholic who’s gonna cause another terrorest attack on US soil.

    Good job Nazi!

  43. youdontneedmyname  |   Posted on Nov 16th, 2004 0

hey, let’s not know each other’s voting choices. If you like the song, cool, if not, whatever. I dig it. As for the rest of the album, i wonder why eminem felt the need to record himself taking a shit and put it on almost every track. remember back when he had a lot of very important things to say?

  44. tiddyboyyoungbuck  |   Posted on Nov 17th, 2004 0

how the hell do u lot kno so little about hip-hop? it surprises me whenever i hear questions like “who died?” the answer is Bugz of D12.
thats another thing, its not em featuring D12- its plain and simple D12, em is part of D12!!!!!!
the song blatantly explains why they cant just drop the rappers cant just squash beef- If someone said something against ur little girl in a song would u really just think to urself “oh its ok, i’ll just let it slip” no, u wouldnt.
come back when u are all a bit wiser because so many of us true hip-hop lovers get pissed wen we have to listen to these chimps asking stupid questions and talking about stuff they dont really understand. Fake criticism is so low.

    P.S
those of u who made good comments on the sampling and stuff- Fair Play!

    worrying!!!

  47. CDRCEO  |   Posted on Nov 17th, 2004 0

Apart from Tiddyboy im hearing some stupid comments! Do any of u listen to music or just skim through it??

There are some tracks on there arent up to Shady’s standard but there are some classics. The last 5 tracks are brilliant. Saying that Toy soldiers is a bad song is a comment from a Hip POP fan who knows fcuk all about Hip HOP!!! Listen to the lyrics?? Dont need huge background noise when someone is Spittin.

Anyone who thinks itsa bad track ask the man who has sold 700,000 copies in 2 days! Eminem is one of the best producers around. Think thats crap?? ASK Kanye, Jigga and Nas. Or do they know nothing about Hip hop either

    Wake up

The great British Record Label is coming!

  48. Jesse  |   Posted on Nov 18th, 2004 0

Damn! this CD is is good!
    I like “like toy soldiers!”

  49. Tim  |   Posted on Nov 18th, 2004 0

I honestly think whoever posted about this CD being crap didn’t even listen to it more than once. All the best CD’s grow on you, listen to it again, a few times… its getting better everytime i listen to it.

Toy soldiers a bad song? Shit I had goosebumps listening to it while i read the lyrics online, its 100 Times more real than all that Hip POP crap you hear out there.

Granted there are a few Hip POP songs on his album but by far this is a good hip hop album.

I love rumbling bass in my car, but i’ll take a song with meaningful lyrics over killer bass anyday.

  50. west2k8  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

emenim is the damn best rapper ever, hes the greatest ever and hes the fuckin bomb. oh yea

ja rules a lil punk ass bitch murder inc. aint nuthin but a bunch of little cum guzzlers and ashanti can suck on 50”S nutz… peace out bitchaz

  51. Kitsune  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

Hellz yeah man… That hook brings back some memories. The movie was also pretty awesome. Y’see… the “retro” thing works like this. Take everything from the decade 20 years before and make it “cool” that’s why everyone out there now is tryna sound 80′s.

That’s why Hot Topic is selling Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake, and Bowling For Soup is covering 80′s pop chart toppers. Odly enough in the 90′s people were doing the same thing, except they were tryna bring back the 70′s.

(70′s suck, 80′s rock, Disco is crap!)

And in the 70′s they wanted to bring back the 50′s leather jacket greaser thing. Happy Days (which was about the 50′s) was actually made in the 70′s. Wait till 2010 when the 90′s start resurfacing and people are convering NIN songs.

And don’t be dissing on this song yo’z.
The hook might be “gay” but Em’s lyrics are still hard as steel. ^_^

  52. Jason  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

Martika rocks! She is now in a duo with a talanted musician, Michael Mozart, together they form, Oppera. http://Www.oppera.net for more info

  53. Slim Brady  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

    Eminem is a legend…GOD

  54. brah this is like some jay-z shit, yo, fucken, all verse no hook, but its good cuz em keeps singin and i think i might be able to top his ass; yo, fuck shitty production; just blame em’s lack of anger; when he was angry he fucken ripped shit up; multiple rhymes and shit, that was the shit; fuck, whatever peace; and btw what the fuck kind of a site is this, gay shit!

  55. Eminem Supporter  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

I really enjoy this album. I believe the reason someone of you who used to like him and dont anymore is you heard all his interesting stories. His albums are basiclly like a biography and your just getting sick of the story. Which I can understand. You ask why he hasnt went after anyone besides benzino well he did. If any of you listened to the last track on the D12 World Cd you would know that he went after Fred Durst and others. I would also like to know If anyone out there knows if Eminem has ever responded to KJ-52, i doubt you even know him, but if you do know i would apreciate the info.

  56. Eminem Supporter  |   Posted on Nov 19th, 2004 0

Sorry on my last post i meant Devils Night not D12 World.

  57. wow u guys are all pretty stupid, the guy he is rapping about is ronnie, his best friend, listen to How Come-by d12

  58. unknown  |   Posted on Nov 21st, 2004 0

You all are missing the point…regardless of what you think of Eminem or the stuck-in-the-past hook that brings you all back to your old crushes, you need to be listening to the lyrincs that are contained in the song. Em is being the bigger man in this song by saying that no matter who started the beef, it needs to end; and for that, he deserves your respect.

  59. DC  |   Posted on Nov 22nd, 2004 0

With Eminem now wallowing in his millions, he has become a sad parody of his former self. This album is a grotesquely smug pastiche – riddled with unintended irony. This is as close to the soul of hip-hop as Tiffany. Vanilla Ice lives!!!

  60. Rocky  |   Posted on Nov 23rd, 2004 0

He could have done the song a bit better, But what a way to shut that langer Ja rule up.. Nobody wants to see these guys pop each other. They should be bringing songs out together cause some of them are Talented and we could here some class tunes… Ja Rule Grow up before someone does put u out of your misery… Up 50….

  61. Rocky  |   Posted on Nov 23rd, 2004 0

I’ve heard Martika’s new band aka Oppera, kinda cool!!!

  62. seb  |   Posted on Nov 24th, 2004 0

For sure, if u dont know what his music his talking about you wont appreciate. Talking about Puffy up there???He is more of a song producer, not a rapper, he started raping only after biggie died. Bout M, in “like toy soldiers” he’s talking bout the beef between Dre and Suge. M also reminds us that he never got involved in the beef opposing Dre to Suge Knight cuz dre didnt want him to. He s not dissing anybody in that freakin song, hes just saying he doesnt want beef anymore.
If you followed Eminem through his albums ,Infinite,Slim shady(ep/Lp),Marshall Matters, Eminem show,(D-12 cds..mixtapes..) you will sure like Encore. He still the same as he was on Slim Shady.Saying what he thinks in a funny way, hahaha. Everybody s always talking about how the rappers are fake and that what they are saying is bullshit. Well….Eminem is one of the realest, he is not talking about gangster shit like selling dope, shooting people.Maybe some rappers really went through that, but not M. So he s talking about what happened and whats happening in HIS life, hes just being himself. If you dont have respect for that, you dont have respect for rap at all, so just dont talk about it…

    Blop_Blop_Et_Ta_mere_Elle?!

“You must just not not knoooooowww_You may not think you do_But you do everytime I think of you I puke!!!”

  63. seb  |   Posted on Nov 24th, 2004 0

oh yeah i forgot, i must admit that “my band” and “just lose it’ are poor songs but…they re just commercials songs to make money, you would do the same ot get more money, you are all just jealous admit it. :0—->:)

  64. bpicardi  |   Posted on Nov 25th, 2004 0

    Messianic ?MESSENGER? Eminem
    The enlightened being of k2
    Truthful, aware, Funny
    Lets face it he?s a fu#*ing Genius
? Oh that?s right um? He raps, Writes extremely Powerful, descriptive, lyrics, lyrics you can actually Visualise that manifest emotions to extreme. I may give examples Of such lyrics (songs) later? maybe
I did not know whom Eminem, marshal, slim shady was up until 1998? (I think) I was watching an award show, slim came on With Elton to DO ?STAN? Anyway I remember making a comment on how exceptionally well Elton Did ?dido?s (chorus) bit. Eminem started delivering he?s performance
And I still remember the comment I made whilst listening to him
    Nothing fancy, merely,?WOW

Oh I?m forty-four years of age and in the society we live in I May be frowned upon for listening, liking or maybe even obsessing over this Super human being, I don?t care? TODAY I HEARD “LIKE TOY SOLDIER ……HUGE RUSH (goose bumps)made my hairs stand up (I FEEL THE RUSH)

  65. Pags  |   Posted on Nov 26th, 2004 0

Eminem was funny and relevent for a brief time but that period has now gone. While I apprecite his lyrics, I can’t help feeling bored with the new album after two listens. A shame but he has left his mark on rap history and that is some feat.

  66. Annihilon  |   Posted on Nov 26th, 2004 0

I wwas 18 when Toy Soldiers was released here in England originally (1989) and remember the childlike chorus well – hearing Em’s new single on the radio for the first time this morning brought back memories and images which I thought long fogotten. The song has the kind of catchy melody the lame popsters would kill for today.

  67. mich  |   Posted on Nov 26th, 2004 0

I have read all these people saying that the matika-part of like toy soldiers has reminded them of a particular event in there lives, seriously don’t you people see that this is a masterful, ingenious way of grabing your attention.(not to mention the impact it has)
But then do you even bother to listen to what he is actualy saying ????????? For gods sake LISTEN ! are there so many people who just don’t understand the method of eminem. Just like stan, he “used” Dido. It makes me sad to think that there are so many ignorant people in the world that wont listen to a person who HAS the best medium to reach the populations of the world. There are such important issues being raised why can’t you hear it ?? frustrated by fools who can’t open there minds.

  68. Kitsune  |   Posted on Nov 27th, 2004 0

    In response to Mich:

    Ummm… I DO listen!

I’ve been an Eminem fan since he came onto the scene with “My Name Is.” I can relate to what he says about his turbulent childhood, being abused by his mother, harassed by bullies, and his general angst. I’m not obsessed about him, but I DO relate and understand.

My Toy Soldiers memory is when I was in the backseat of the car 10 years old and my dad was in one of his bi-polar moods and I was just doing my best to block the whole f**ing world out and ignore my parents arguing.

I hated my dad, I hated being in the middle of everything, having to side with one or the other.

I hated having to go stay with a relative or at a neighboor’s house when my parents were fighting. The song was on the radio and I just curled up into a ball on the backseat and focussed all my attention onto the music to block out their b*tching.

And when I became a teen I continued to use that escape. When my mom and dad would be yellin’ at eachother downstairs I’d be locked in my room upstairs with Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Eminem blasted loud as possible on the stereo.

And to you morons who pop off about how Eminem is rich and he should be happy? Money doesn’t buy you happiness! To quote a phrase: “Mo’ money, mo’ problems.” The more sucessful a person becomes the more people hate him because they’re jealous.

“Woe is me. There goes poor Marshall again/
whining about his millions and his mansion and/
his sorrow he’s always drowning in/ and the dad that he never had
and how his childhood was so bad/ and how mom was a dope addict
and his ex wife how they go at it./

Man, I’d hate to have it – as bad as that Mr. Mathers – claims he had it. I can’t imagine it.

That little rich poor white bastard needs to take some of that cash out of the bank and take a bath in it.

Man, if I only had half of it.
If you only knew the half of it.”
    - from the song Evil Deeds.

  69. shbi  |   Posted on Nov 28th, 2004 0

i like this track, good production, especially with that sample even if it aint eminem’s style. I dont particularly like the rest of the album but this track stands out.

Eminem has got beef wit a fair few people as a mattr of fact, what bout ICP and co….slim anus anybody…and theres the feud beween him nd that detriot rapper who i cnt remember the name of but its similar to his…i dunno much bout eminem…im more into peeps like quannum mcs and stuff..

  70. Govs  |   Posted on Nov 30th, 2004 0

This is not a beef track, if u listen to lyrics theres a story in the song and this is eminem at his best. I dnt really like the encore album but this is an AMAZING track. He lets go an takes it seriously on this track no jokey stuff, i hav 1 question. Why does he not make these kind of songs more often???

  71. Reillo  |   Posted on Nov 30th, 2004 0

Heh I’m not to sure whats going on here, I don’t think anyone of us are in a position to assume total understanding of this man, eminem. Just that there are people all over the world, of all different races and ages, that find something within his lyrics that allows us to close our eyes and be there. Find a little of ourselves within his words. I know when I’m Pissed off there is no one that can make it so clear, the emotions I love that. The release. There is no doubt that 2 pac was the first and the best but eminem does not despute this, on the contrary he admits his love for 2pac, I guess it all comes down to the fact that he can tell the truth(straight) and thats a very hard thing for many , most people to do.And Kitsune I agree he should take that money and his girls and go and find a paradise ,but then whats in your mind is what makes you where you are. So I guess he is really fucked. SO SAD.

by KJ52, don’t think many people have heard it, no one i know has. I really like it and would love to hear an updated version(if you get my drift) he could just call it P.S eminem talk to you later.great song but nothing to do with “like toy soldiers”EM deserves the Noble peace prize ENCORE anyone agree???

    This even disgusts me!

Martika wrote Toy Soldiers about drug addiction and lost innocence, and it had a powerful, important message, and that no-talent hack eminem comes along and turns it into some stupid ghetto gang war anthem

As livid as I am about this, I take comfort in the fact that Martika’s classic song has lived on for 16 years and will live forever, while eminem’s song are popular for a week or 2 at the most
seriously, who the heck still listens to “Hi…My Name Is” ???
    Nobody
This song will be soon forgotten, and Martika’s version will inevitably remain untarnished

OK…you think Em is gay//Best watch what you say//Cause some folks like to carry some AK//With some names that happened to be yours//So don’t hate on info that you don’t understand//I’d hate to see your brains splattered across your farmers tan//…So please pay close attention//Because some of these entries think Em is getting weak melodies//But if you look deep inside, he’s doing this shit to piss off his enemies.

So anyone that truely wants to say Em is gay…

    Grow up!!!

I heard this song for the first time last night, not properly but enough to realise the sample was from Martika. Naturally I downloaded a whole bunch of Martika and Em’. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 80′s flashback! I even took out the old photo albums and I dont mind admitting I had the same hair cut and dressed JUST like her. Soft-cock, Hip-hop, Rap, whatever you wish to call it, I think its undeniable that Mr Mathers has a little something for everyone. Personally I think this song kicks ass!

I don’t think you need to know the personal history about an artist or band to appreciate music. All you HIP-HOP-HERO’s who fancy yourself as better than others for having more insight into the lyrics should try to remember that the majority of ppl who purchase CD’s do so simply because they enjoyed a song. Its all well and good that you all know what the references mean (even if ya’ll have different versions of the truth which makes me doubt anyones knowledge)but I dare say that Eminem is sitting on millions of dollrs because of these “no nothings”.

For One I beleive that Eminem is great. The other thing I beleive is that you people who sit their and calling Eminem “gay” it is for the simple reason htat you are too fucking stupid to recognize the ignorance of your ways. 1 Bush is a coke head so that makes him a fucking hipocrite and a lying self asorbed bastard or would rather kill every-one than be proven wrong. I admit I voted for Keryy not much beter but beter than Bush. 2. Drugs are bad for you. 3. If Eminem took the time to “sample” somebody elses song that he put so much energy, effort, and emotion to it means he probably respects that person not that he is dissin her. 4. Eminem’s songs live Do forever i constantly rotate the cd’s for the simple fact they get better each time around (If that makes me a nobody then sobe it). If you disagree email me at GameManVA008@Yahoo.com and i will be glad to show you the error of your ways you stupid son of a bitch.

R.S. For all of you people who just downloaded his songs, if you are a true fan you’ll buy the cd’s

    Shit P.S.

  85. (Won’t you come out and play with me)

Step by step, heart to heart (heart to heart)
Left right left, we all fall down (fall down)
    Like toy soldiers
Bit by bit (bit by bit), torn apart (torn apart)
We never win but the battle rages on
    For toy soldiers
This is the choruse of the song that martika wrote and sang.
She has a lovely voice an di am only 11 yet her voicwe is amazing i will always remember the track. Eminem is a crap singer to me and he has no talent besides speekin words fast. He gives Martika’s song sort of a bad name and i don’t know if Martika is alive or not. If she is i think that she shouls spell er name out to eminem

  86. I never said that eminem is gay so wat u all ravin on about

  87. JR  |   Posted on Dec 18th, 2004 0

  88. Wow. When I wuz reading tha 1st few commentz, I was getting so damn angry! That was even before the album had come out, so what did they know. Im glad atleast a couple of people have defended his song. The video for it is so sad. And yeah, im 16, so I didnt know WHO Martika was, but now i do, and now im hoping to catch tha video and song on vh1 classic, because i like eminems version alot. He’z a freaken genius.

  94. Bizbo  |   Posted on Jan 1st, 2005 0

The original is a great song and Em proves that he can make previous titles work again. Before Encore came out i doubt many people had even heard of Martika. Me included. And Em is plenty up to date with new people to diss. Lets not make to much effort and look at Like Toy Soldiers wher he gives it to Ja Rule so he is not just at the source and benzino, besides they can never get enuff dissin.

And to settle the argument there is one question which hangs in the balance “who has sold more records Eminem or Martika?” This proves that Em’s songs are good enuff to be released and that he can rap. Never since Makaveli The Don (RIP) have we seen such a great rapper.

  95. eminem sucks  |   Posted on Jan 7th, 2005 0
