is it strange that i just bought tickets to the arcade fire’s show here (here=milwaukee) on the 24th and they were only #11 and #12, respectively? would they be sold out by now if i live where you live? is my town inexorably lame?

Yeah, I grabbed tickets to the LA show at Spaceland and I can’t wait. They were fairly cheap too. $1.50 beers and Arcade Fire, you can’t go wrong. I’m wondering if they can pull off the sound of the record live. I hear they have all 15 members on stage at once though, so those big group choruses should be pretty cool.
Does anyone know if they are going to release more tickets to the show?
That Bright Eyes track is a cover of the Bruces’ song, although I’m not certain it can technically be called a ‘cover’ if the original artist hasn’t recorded it yet. That doesn’t make any sense, actually. I’m not sure why the press release calls that song a cover.
I thought I got over Bright Eyes 2 winters when it was all I listened to during the blizzard, but this brings me back. Conor, stop doing this to me.
