what is bittorrent? is it mp3′s and other media files or is it specific to this .torrent format? ie: can i put the music files on my ipod?

torrents are…well, the best (read: fastest) way to download large files. it can be music, movies, or any other type of file out there. basically for music, it is something akin to a zip file, where all the songs for the album are in one file, the torrent. but other than that, it’s not like a zip file at all.
here’s kinda how it works. you download the torrent file, usually about 30 kb or so, then put that into your bittorrent client. if you’re using a pc, get bitcomet. if a mac, stick with the original client. when it goes into your bt client, you start downloading it from a number of different people in little sections, and at the same time, you send what you have downloaded already to other people who are downloading.
i’d say google it and you’ll find an faq on it pretty quickly. that will explain better than i did. but it is probably the fastest filesharing thing out there right now.

yeah it’s real. it was recorded in 2002, when the bands lineup was way different than what it is now. i’ve got 3 live shows form 02 as well, and they were not exactly the best band back then. they’ve come a long way
