    Good for her (Kirsten Dunst).

  2. while i agree the record is def VERY VERY much like Spoon, it’s a bit more rockin’ in spots, and still a kickass record nonetheless.

  3. Dunst: “Let’s see here… hundred, hundred, five, hundred… oh! Here’s a dollar! I’m surprised they still make these. Here you go, homeless man.”

Or maybe she could’ve given the guy her sincerity from the Spider-Man movie–that’s worth about a dollar!

    (Wee! This is fun!)

That band sounds so much like Spoon they’re practically unlistenable. I wonder if they woke up the morning after the first time they listened to Girls Can Tell and made a conscious decision to mimic or if they’re just uninspired. In any case, yuck.

I wonder how many of those uneducated people bitching and complaining about the homeless actually live in an urban area and actually SEE homeless people?? Some people are just so ignorant and close minded it’s sickening!!!!!!!!

There are lots of other people in this world that make a ton of money and do nothing but spend it on worthless crap. A dollar may not be much to her, but I’m sure it made that guy happy for at least a moment or two.

  9. Sheeeit, one time in Toronto (a city with some real homeless problems), I gave a homeless guy $5. You should’ve seen the look on his face!

I’d like to point out that a post which mocked people for arguing about Kirsten Dunst and a homeless guy led to a series of comments… arguing about Kirsten Dunst and a homeless guy. Irony is beautiful.

I totally recognize that guy! He sits right outside the parking structure on N. Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills. He is a really nice homeless guy. He is complementary when you walk by and doesn’t berate you if you don’t give him money.
