Could benefit from a little nip/tuck, but this boot’s brilliant nonetheless. Scissor Sisters’ “Take Your Mama” meets Beatles’ “For No One” meets George Michael’s “Freedom ’90″ meets Aretha Franklin’s “Think”…
Thanks Bex for the heads up. Keep an ear out for more at djearworm.com.

Well, that’s just about the coolest thing I’ve ever heard.
I’m in heaven! It’s fuckin fantastic!
Very cool. Kind of reminds me of a Broadway musical number where multiple characters sing their bit, and then everything comes in together in the end in a crescendo.
This is the best, most musically intelligent mash I’ve ever heard.
Thanks for making my night!!! that was awesome!
Heard this on the radio in Bristol (England) a lot over Christmas/New Year on a station called “Caroline Rocks”. The breakfast DJ used to play a “Mash of the day”, and this was the one that had the best reaction of all. Shame it could never be released officially – it would be a smash
nothing to do with this, but since you blog about britney, i thought you might find this amusing.

Come on, try and keep up Stereogum, this mash has been out for ages.
Alsoe, I’m drunk – forgive my spleelling.
Why does Pauls voice go so well with SCissor Sisters?
Fantastic, yes, indeed.
Fantastic
I’ve listened to it 9 times
Make that 10
dude, what’s up with not mentioning macrock? come onnnnnnnn. they didn’t get a lot of big names, but travis morrison was there (dismemberment plan) and so was magnolia electric co. (songs: ohia until recently) and lots of other indie bands that fucking rock.
It’s hard to sit still at the part where Aretha starts wailing “Free-dommmm!”
this is fantastic – thanks scott!
This is awesome. Thank you for sharing!
I want this song is there anyway I can get it?
Genius! I was pissing myself with laughter when I read “Scissor Sisters meets Beatles meets George Michael meets Aretha Franklin” but DJ Earworm brilliantly pulls off the combination! I’m officially addicted to this mash-up!
