Comedy Central has abruptly halted production on Chappelle’s Show. Word on the street is its star had a nervous breakdown. The third season was scheduled to premiere this month, but has now been pushed back. Guess you’ll have to rewatch those DVDs a little while longer. Or play with the Rick James soundboard.
In happier news, Stephen Colbert is getting his own show that will air after The Daily Show. The Colbert Report will parody talking screaming heads like Sean Hannity and Chris Matthews.

I can’t find any stories that confirm the reason that production stopped on the show, although there are many stories that state that the show has stopped production, with the hopes of restarting it ASAP. I guess Gummy has some contacts on the inside. Either that or someone is having a little fun with him

i know someone who does video editing for chappelle’s show. apparently after they had filmed and were in the editing stage, dave thought that most of the stuff filmed for season three was crap and scrapped it.
i believe it.
