The guitar in “Mucky Fingers” reminds me of another song, but I can’t remember what…

  4. The Netherlands is AWESOME. And yes, I live there.

  5. Hey Scott, how about some thanks to me who pointed you to this Double Dutch treat weeks ago.

It wasn’t working last week when I trolled through it, good to see it’s back up, probably as illegal as ever!

  6. It’s not illegal, it’s part of a website for the VPRO, a tv/radio network in the Netherlands.

  7. chelsea – “mucky fingers” sounds just like a velvet underground song. “waiting for the man”, i think?

  8. rollo  |   Posted on May 27th, 2005

yeah it sounds like an “i’m waiting for the man” ripoff but hey the record is quite ok.

    i’ll stick to definitely maybe.

  9. wonderful this will help me get through work until the weekend now. I like the new Oasis a lot more than I thought I would.

  10. De Luisterpaal gaat internationaal! En dat rijmt nog ook. :-)

  11. What the heck kinda time measurement system is at work when the songs are playing? Are seconds longer in the Netherlands — perhaps owing to the abundance of readily available cannabis?

Spin just gave the new Oasis an A-, which suprised the hell out of me. I’ve had it downloaded for a month now and I have yet to listen, but I’m getting kinda anxious now that people seem to actually like it. “Definately Maybe” through “Be Here Now”, Oasis could do no wrong. Then they stopped doing coke and Oasis became boring. Are they on coke again? I hope so.

  19. also streaming on that site…
Joyfull Rebellion by K-Os is one of the best albums of last year. AMAZING!

  20. listening friend, indeed

  21. delicious  |   Posted on May 30th, 2005

hidden gem in the mix is el pino and the volunteers my friends . . . dig deep.

  22. the new coldplay just finally leaked. kinda boring.

  23. Shaun  |   Posted on May 31st, 2005

Kinda boring if you don’t like Coldplay? Perhaps, I could see that. I’ve only had time to listen to the first seven tracks, and I wasn’t bored at all. Fix You was as good as I hoped.

And I’m pretty excited to listen to the rest tomorrow.

  24. Bill  |   Posted on May 31st, 2005

The new Oasis record blows away the new Coldplay record.

  25. the new coldplay is amazing. the album is awesome.

  26. i’m a coldplay fan and i think it’s boring. there’s nothing new or neat or anything that perked my ears up. it’s a pretty generic sounding record. their first record was awesome, and “a rush of blood to the head” was even better, but this falls flat on its face.
