      the double = great

    7. Wait, didn’t we end the “Gummer” era already?

    8. the longwave song is so good. so is the new record. great stuff.

    9. that entire engineers cd is one of the more boring albums of the year.

    10. the cursive song’s from the new album, the difference between houses and homes, john. due out august 9.

    11. Longwave! I can’t wait ’til they get some more recognition. I saw them open for Doves, and they’re really good. I highly recommend “Wake Me When It’s Over”.

“Sucker and Dry” is actually off the old Sucker and Dry 7″. I think it came out in 1997? There are two versions of it, as well. This “new record” is just a complilation of rare songs.

I absolutely love the Engineers entire album. The songs are great and every time I listen (which has been a lot already), I hear something new. Oh, and they’re great live too.

    15. that engineers track, i like

    16. savvy  |   Posted on Jul 29th, 2005

yay engineers! it’s an album to immerse oneself in, i think. ace live, too. talk about your wall of sound….

recently i’ve been hearing about hard-fi, was xtra curious to check them out. also recently, in someone’s car, i heard me some “alternative” radio and heard the most cringe worthy, auto tuned vocals and song ever. i figured it was just another so cal/modern rock matrix produced piece of garbage.
then I download hard fi from here and realize they infact are the same thing
      atrocious in a word.
kingsbury manx and the double are lovely tho

That Andrew Thompson song is fantastic. He really gets a handle on the robot issue.
