Today’s episode of Soundcheck on WNYC radio will feature Clap Your Hands Say Yeah:

The buzz band talks about their growing popularity (thanks in part to file-sharing) and about writing indie pop that’s “clever, catchy and a little depressed” (Detroit Metro Times).

Also on the show, Allen Toussaint, who’s written songs for The Meters and Patti LaBelle, talks about surviving hurricane Katrina and his experience in the New Orleans Superdome.

Listen at 2 PM at 93.9 FM, or stream it in iTunes.
