Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra kicks off the Williamsburg Jazz Festival tonight at Galapagos. Travis Sullivan arranges Björk’s signature sound for large jazz ensemble, and it sounds pretty great. In fact, I haven’t been able to listen to “Army of Me” since the summer of ’95, when it was on the radio every 15 minutes or so. But check out Travis Sullivan’s cool arrangement, performed live:

The show starts at 9 pm with a set by the MK Groove Orchestra who sound a lot better than their name might lead you to believe.
