I seem to remember that during the Kilborn years on TDS, They Might Be Giants celebrated the show’s anniversary by playing “I Can Hear You” live on the show with a real wax recording device. But perhaps Stewart doesn’t consider the Kilborn years as even the same show.
Comedy Central should be re-running this a couple times today as per usual with The Daily Show. I just set the DVR for the 2:00pm EST replay.
I miss Kilborn. I mean, Jon is great, but every now and then I wonder why Craig can’t stick with a TV show for once. What’s he doing now?
I also miss Vance DeGenerous, Mo Rocca, and Frank DeCaro.

Does anyone know why Jack White had a mirror setup on his piano? Does he just want to see how he looks while he’s singing or what?
The mirror is so he can see what Meg’s up to, and vice-versa. Eagle-eyed concert-goers will sometimes see Jack mouth, “Slower” or “Faster” to Meg using this new-fangled communication technology.
