This is an “ema” — like a votive prayer board. People buy them in Shinto shrines, write a few words, and then hang them on large racks. I’ve taken several pictures of “ema” before, because they make an interesting cultural image, but this is my favorite.

U2 play Yokohama on 4/4, so I guess it worked. But as for tickets, you’re on your own Kiwi.

    Why? … Because U2 is the greatest band in the world today.
