Maxïmo Park completists should keep an eye out for Missing Songs, Warp’s new collection of the band’s b-sides, demos, and non-LP tracks. The tunes are actually all very good by b-side standards, so even casual fans will enjoy. I wish that a thousand bands sounded like Maximo Park. Unfortunately, they don’t, which is why A Certain Trigger was my pick for Album of the Year for 2004.
