Hollywood Steve gambled with some inside humor and a historical setting in Episode 6. Points for experimenting, but it cost them 1st place at the screening.

Oh man. hall and oates is a guilty pleasure of mine. i grew up in Connecticut where they live now. i used to love seeing them in town… they would go out to lunch together and stuff. but man, will and grace? thats a new plateau in adult contemporary.

While I appreciated the new Yacht Rock, I didn’t find it very funny. I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t cut it. All the other Yacht Rock’s are awesome though, and I swear by them. My friends and I used to call that type of music Tennis Shoe Rock, but never made an accompanying video that chronicled the back story of the name. So I guess we lose.
I cannot begin to say how much I love this post, or anything related to Hall & Oates, “Yacht Rock,” and Ben Gibbard. yesssss.

episode 6 does suck, but thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of episodes 1-5 — genius!!
