When ThighsWideShut passed us an MP3 of “Knock ‘Em Out,” we hit play and wondered for a few secs if she was the new Nellie McKay or the new M.I.A. And then her cheeky/ballsy rhymes took over: turns out Lily’s a female Mike Skinner, and absolutely infectious. i have been doing some digging and have learned that most of the album (including LDN, SMILE, Nan…, Knock em out etc) is co written and produced by Future Cut (aka Darren Lewis & Tude Babayola) anyone else know anything about these guys…?
FUTURE CUT produced LDN, Smile, Knock em’ Out, Nan You’re A Window Shopper and they’re mixing the album too. They are also backing her for all the YoYo gigs
