  1. Far from trailblazing, Passover nevertheless implies that the Black Angels like to blaze until they see trails.

New Zero 7 seems salted with a psychedelic influences. Anyone agree?

I think it’s a bit more light and soulful compared to previous releases. I really only dig a few tracks off the album. Seems like each full length has dropped in quality. “Simple Things” is my bestest favorite.

  4. Wow! Zero 7! Can you tell me whay Nelly Furtado and John Legend are up to now as well??

Ah sarcasm. The drug of a generation.

  5. That video is just like that IT commercial for eBay or Kinko’s or whatever damn company is being advertised. I mean, it’s JUST like that commercial. Not very unique at all. The song is OK, but if the album is not as cool as “Simple Things”, then that’s not cool. I might still buy it, though. =)

  6. Ben Chasny’s coming to town! Ben Chasny’s coming to town! Stereogum, get all over that shit. I invite Sufiejanie to come lick his feet.

  7. I liked the video. I thought it showed out something arbitrary can become popular, and then fall out of popularity only to be replaced by some other arbitrary item. And the fact that it resembles the It commercial makes it that much more relevant, because it parodies it.. and that helps to make the point. Don’t know if I care much for the music, mind you. But the video entertained me to be sure.
