But first go to Stereogum & Ice Cream Man’s 7/9 McCarren Park Pool party featuring Les Savy Fav, Beans w/ Holy Fuck, Dragons Of Zynth, and another band I should be able to announce soon. It was totally gonna be Cold War Kids, then Grizzly Bear, but the timing just didn’t work. When we confirm you’ll read it here first.

Any news on a pre-order?
This is a smart move for a remix album. They never sell all that well to begin with. In doing only vinyl and digital, you can access the average music goer, and still keep the music geek happy by casually tossing out the phrase “limited edition vinyl pressing.” Be interesting to see if more releases go this route.

i got a chance to hear the boot of u.s.e’s remix contribution. seriously hot. united state of electronica is in demand these days for post production work so its no wonder they were chosen. and iqu and i am the world trade centers trax will be hot too, im sure!
I agree. U.S.E’s remix is pretty dancefloor ready, as would be expected from the seattle beatmasters. I expect this to be a pretty hot item once it drops in august.
