I just wanted to give you a heads up about something huge that happened this week.
There was a rumor from people in the Lawrence, KS area that Christopher Crisci of the band The Appleseed Cast committed suicide earlier in the week which is why they didn’t play in the Lollapalooza last band standing finale event in Chicago. Last night, this was confirmed by a source close to the band. I have been told that they will release a statement soon.

As someone who is friends with people in the band this is a pretty fucked up thing to see pop up while surfing tonight. Please dig a little deeper next time.

I saw them play yesterday at the Bleeding Kansas Music and Arts Festival (along with BSS, mates of state, murder by death,etc). So yeah, alive.

I live in Lawrence, KS and I never heard any of this. What an awful rumor. I’m not a fan of the band, but that’s a terrible thing to spread. This article wasn’t spreading it, but it was asking if it was true thanks for giving conformation on this false rumor.
