Also coming from Yep Roc is psych-folk hero Robyn Hitchcock’s Ole Tarantula (out 10/3). His backing band, The Venus 3, are Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey and Bill Riefin of The Minus Five.

“We sound like a smart garage band, to my ears, when we play live,” says Hitchcock of his line-up. “The record is a little more tidy, but they still rock, and rock me along with them. This is the rockingest record I’ve made in years.”
