Scott, this sucks. These are funny. And yet, Stereogum has become the new Pitchfork. It’s like, anyone who wants to be cool automatically posts negative comments because it’s now hip to be against Stereogum. All that coverage, man, it’s just bringing out the wannabe-hipsters.

Just because you don’t find poor jokes funny and comment about it on Stereogum doesn’t make you a wannabe-hipster. I think Stereogum is great, and will continue to do so, but “I lost my cameltoe” is awful. And yes, it is easier to have an opinion and not do anything, but just because you express an opinion doesn’t mean you do nothing. LBC was right, it really isn’t Ryan Adams albums. Owen wasn’t getting out there and making something of his life when he wrote “This is the face I make when Joe fingers me in the asshole”. Maybe I’m wrong. Live the dream Owen!
