Oddsmaking: Will Thom Yorke Dance Away With The Short-Form Music Video Grammy? CONS: Will voters have Adele fatigue? Unlike other categories, where Adele is the clear respectable choice, here she's up against such critical luminaries as Radiohead. With no Bruno Mars or Katy Perry to split the pop vote, she could suffer. THE GIMMICK ...
Why music is still good business "Don't tie yourself to the sinking ship," is the stark advice Radiohead singer Thom Yorke offers young bands. Yorke's view, that it's simply a matter of time before the music industry establishment crumbles, hardly makes him a contrarian. Physical sales in ...
That was a crazy look (and not just because of his lazy eye). For a moment, I thought he might start singing “kelly kelly kelly kelly kelly kelly kelly of mine”…
well theres no mistake that the look in the beginning is kind of hilarious. hes not even looking at the piano, just staring into the audience. so weird and funny and creepy….
but anyways, ive been dying to hear this song on just piano. i think so many of the songs wouldve been recorded so much more effectively without all the beeps and clicks IN YOUR FACE. but thats just my opinion. this is one of my favorites off the album….
That was great. I think its even better with just the solo piano than it is on record. It reminds me a bit of the live version of “Like Spinning Plates”.
I think the death-glare at the beginning was a way for him to get over his nerves…The opposite of pretending nobody is sitting in judgement his naked mewlings. Here I am, there you are. Let’s do this, shall we?
Great song though, if a bit safe and samey for him.

Love Thom and Radiohead, but it’s a tough song to get into while websurfing. The vocal melody’s cool beans, but the piano bit is a bit boring. I think this version would be better suited for bedtime listening.
you guys are all wondering about the death glare? Did it ever occur to you that he may be looking at the sound engineer trying to determin the mix and here everything before he starts the song, seeing if there’s enough verb on the piano etc…
does any1 know where u can download Thom’s mercury performance of analyze…. i dont like the record one at all, sounded amazing when he just simplified it live tho
Erm.. some of the theories here on the glare are ludicrous. He said afterward he did it because there were people talking through Zoe Rahman’s performance.
i love the look at the beginning. he commands the attention of his audience. i love the album version of this song too. especially at the end…the way he communicates with the listener…this sound creeps in and augments the ominous effects of too little analyzation…it’s like you can literally see in your mind what he’s saying to you and all he’s really doing is humming with his eyes closed. magically brilliant.

why does everything of this album sound quality live ? …and complete and utter shite on the record.
What’s with the hate face in the beginning?
something tells me “monkey” must be kidding.
Does anyone else get nervous while watching Thom perform? I just feel like at any point he could spit fire. Amazing performance.
what do you mean ‘Alec’ i have the greatest amount of respect for thom & radiohead, there music is just so… inspiring!
i get nervous i might fall asleep watching him perform.
utter shite
There was some crazy scowl at the beginning…I thought his head was going to start spinning…
that aint no scowl, his eyes are messed up from some accident in his youth…

Circling his smile at the end freakin creeped me out.
Lovely song though.
thom yorke > everyone else
Bo-ring. I liked The Clock live, but this was a snoozefest. Much better on the album.
