In May, David Lee Roth told Rolling Stone:

Of course David always says that. But this time is Eddie Van Halen thinking about leaving the porn industry and taking DLR up on his offer?
The guitarist appeared on Howard Stern on Friday and said … he was open to playing with Roth. According to Blabbermouth, Eddie also described himself as being on the outs with Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar, calling their Other Half touring group a “cover band.”
Next up EVH is putting out an album with bro Alex and son Wolfgang. Maybe when that fails we’ll get to see the original line-up onstage performing music again. I’d settle for bluegrass at this point.

I think “rocket surgery” is when you are doing rocket science and brain surgery at the same time. One with your hands, the other with your feet.
Its twice as hard as either one alone. Maybe even more than twice…maybe even thrice as hard.
