For those keeping track, this is the 4th 6th 8th (?) lo-fi viral video from the forthcoming Information. Are we worried that all these promo clips will tire us of Beck before the album’s out? Not a chance when the music’s this good. Here Mr. Beck riffs on one of those atonal-yet-compelling acoustic licks that made Mellow Gold the greatest left of center pop album of its time. As for the visuals? More amusing than strange at this point, and possibly taped at one of those “Make Your Own Music Video!” things at Bar Mitzvahs.

Actually this is the 8th video I believe not counting the skateboarding video for “Nausea”. He’s put out one for 1000 BPM, Elevator Music, Dark Star, Motorcade, Strange Apparition, Think I’m In Love, We Dance Alone and now this.

the album is sounding fantastic from what we’ve heard so far.
i just hope he doesn’t leak too much more. i don’t want to spoil the album. i want that new beck album feeling to coarse through my veins when i listen to the information.
