Now that yesterday’s results have been tabulated, it’s clear there’s a political power shift underway. Maybe this suits you, maybe this makes you want to move to Canada (they do have awesome indie rock there). Either way, it’s not Stereogum’s style to get involved in politics, but when the man behind some of our all-time guilty pleasures (like “Still The One” and “Dance With Me”) wins a seat, well censors be damned, we gotta say, “Congratulations, John Hall!”
How are you not gonna vote for that man? And who knew Colbert sang such spot on harmony?! Dude can sing and make us laugh — we’re totally on board for Stewart/Colbert in ’08.

colbert sang in a few episodes of “strangers with candy.” there was one about not fulfiling your dreams where he sings some kansas, i believe.
